This year’s PETRONAS Le Tour de Langkawi can expect more than 12 hours of ‘live’ telecast on Eurosport – considered the leading broadcaster for the sport of cycling in the world.
The 27th edition of PETRONAS Le Tour de Langkawi is slated for 23-30 September 2023 and will see the participation of two WorldTeam in Astana Qazaqstan and EF Education-Easypost, alongside eight ProTeam, 11 Continental teams and one national team.
To ensure that the premier cycling event in Asia continues to be given the right exposure worldwide, Eurosport will give 90 minutes of daily ‘live’ Telecast, alongside a further 90 minutes of daily TV highlights.
Locally, Astro Arena will also provide 90 minutes of ‘live’ telecast with a further 30 minutes of daily highlights.
With the aim of reaching an estimated global TV audience of some 310 million, organisers Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) has also broadened the reach through Youtube Live Streaming of up to five hours a day for a total of 40 hours over the race period.
This does not include the exposure that will be garnered through social media platforms like TikTok – which is an official sponsor of LTdL 2023 – Twitter and Facebook.
